When a follower clicks through your Staysette page and books a hotel, you earn an affiliate commission on that booking. Staysette handles the booking infrastructure, tracks the referral back to you, and sends the earnings to your connected bank account. You post the hotel you genuinely stayed at. They book it. You get paid.

Yes. There's no follower minimum. What matters is whether your audience actually trusts your hotel picks — a creator with 8K engaged followers who post specific hotel recommendations can outperform a creator with 200K who posts generic travel content. We don't gate on follower count, and we never will.

Earnings go through a 30-day hold window after a booking completes. This covers the standard hotel cancellation period — if the traveler cancels, the commission disappears. Once a booking clears the hold, earnings move to confirmed. Confirmed earnings are paid out via Stripe Connect to your connected bank account on a rolling basis, typically 2–5 business days after we initiate the transfer. You need a connected Stripe account to receive payouts — you can set that up under Settings → Payouts.

When you tap “Continue with Instagram” on your dashboard, we send you to Instagram's official login page with a single permission request: instagram_business_basic. After you authorize, Instagram returns your account ID and username to us. We check that the returned username matches the handle you claimed. If it matches, you're verified — we store your Instagram user ID as proof and discard the access token. Instagram verification requires a Business or Creator account; personal accounts cannot use this flow per Meta's platform requirements.

We action requests within 7 days and email you to confirm. You can also revoke Staysette from Instagram's Apps and Websites settings at any time.

We only request one Instagram permission: instagram_business_basic, which lets us read your account ID and username. We do not read or store your media, followers, following list, DMs, Stories, comments, tags, or insights. We do not post anything to your account or message anyone on your behalf. We do not store your Instagram access token — it is discarded after the username check. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
